Afakot

Afakot

Afakot is an audiovisual (TV and radio) production company created in 2005 that handled commercial and artistic affairs for several radio stations (AM 1630 Diagonal from La Plata, FM Jai). It currently manages two radio stations in the city of Buenos Aires: Radio Con Vos (FM 89.9) and Radio Dime (AM 1420). It also produced several TV shows for América TV and Canal 13 between 2008 and 2013.

In 2016 the holding was purchased by Carlos Gorosito and Alberto Benjamín Vijnovsky, two businessmen who had been connected to media at different times in Argentina’s history. The former had worked alongside Fernando Sokolowicz in several audiovisual projects and productions (such as the last concert of iconic band Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota in the city of Córdoba in 2001). The latter was one of Canal 9’s shareholder when the channel was purchased by Daniel Hadad and Fernando Sokolowicz.

Gorosito and Vijnovsky are partners in the audiovisual production company HSVG together with Daniel Hadad and Fernando Sokolowicz. In addition, they both own an advertising production company (Delta Marketing Líquido) that organizes advertising campaigns for the Government of the city of Buenos Aires and funded Mauricio Macri's presidential campaign in 2015.
