Lavoz.com.ar is the website of Córdoba newspaper La Voz del Interior, the second broadest circulation paper in the interior of Argentina. It ranks among the 20 most visited news websites in the country, according to Alexa’s and SimilarWeb’s rankings.
The news portal was created in 1996 under the name of Intervoz. Four years later, in 2000, it became La Voz online. During this very first stage, the website replicated the articles on the newspaper and published a summary of the most relevant news. Years later, an editorial team was created to update the site’s content 24/7.
Within the portal, there is a site called Vos.com.ar, which features entertainment content and information for young people; a site entitled Mundo D.com.ar, which features sport news; and a site named AgroVoz. In February 2018, La Voz established a porous paid news system, which allows readers to access up to 40 monthly news for free. It also launched a digital content subscription system, which reached 10,000 subscribers in August 2018, with many of them coming from the newspaper’s loyalty card program, Club La Voz.
